The Management team is headed by Charlie
and Paul Costa who have a combined 40 years
experience in the horticulture industry and are
well known throughout the district as leaders in
their field.
Ongoing investment is a cornerstone on the
business and The Grape House has recently purchased
an additional 1000 acres in Euston, 70% of which has
been planted to Crimson Seedless, Autumn Royal
and Thompson Seedless grape varieties.
To ensure consistent quality and security of
supply for customers, The Grape House has also
expanded to the USA with a recent purchase of
150 acres in Delano, California. The property
has been upgraded with on-site coolroom
and fumigation facilities

profile table grape grower and exporter, The Grape House Pty Ltd, is
the 2004 Powercor Prime Television Business of the Year !
The Grape House won both the "Primary Producers" category as well as
the prestigious "Business of the Year" award from a quality field of
contenders for the region’s highest business accolade.
It was a
stirring sight as Grape House principal, Charlie Costa, invited his
entire entourage of 20 family and staff on stage to accept the
Award.
“I am
surrounded by good people,” he said. “This Award is as much their’s
as mine.”
More than
420 people packed the Mildura Settlers Function Centre’s Willandra
Room Saturday night for the gala awards dinner and to hear the big
announcement.
Awards
organising committee chairman, George Sossi, welcomed the crowd,
saying this year’s Awards had captured the imagination of the
business community with a record number of entries and a record
number of people attending the gala presentation evening.
